A Coin For Thought

The 13th of December was our last GNCT session for the 1st year. Like all other days of GNCT, we had an interesting session. First, Miss.Sarasi collected a coin from each of us and all the coins were put in to a purse. Then the purse was rotated through the class and the moment where Miss.Sarasi tapped the table, the person with the purse had to take a coin out and he had to speak about the memories he had related to the year of the coin. 

The session was going awesome as this was totally impromptu and our colleagues were bringing out some funny and interesting things happened to them in the respective years. When I got the chance to speak, the coin I got was a 2/-  coin which was released in 2006. So, here is the story which I related to the class, the story of how I joined a new school for my secondary education.

After my grade five scholarship examination I haven't  had a exact idea about my secondary education.Because unfortunately I failed the exam.So my self -confidence  became down.Addition to that my grand mother got paralyzed.

But my father encouraged me a lot.So I reinstated my mind and earned courage to do my future education than before.

My father admitted me to H/Kahawatta Maha Vidyalaya to do my O/L.It was the turning point of my life.If my father didn't get that decision and didn't encourage me,I will not here today.

After the two hours we listened to lot of stories that our friends have faced in their lives according to particular years.As previous sessions we earned lot of happiness also today.

with this activity we have  moved to the end of the GNCT course unit,as well as to the end of the first year.I would like to thank our Sarasi madam for teaching us about   all these things.
