Paper Tower Group 2

Paper Tower activity was held on 12/06/2018 at B1 212 hall by Mrs.Sarasi Senadheera who is our GNCT lecturer.

First of  all she divided our class in to three groups.I was in group Two.When we talk about our team, we had more creative ant talented members.There were nine members in our group.

We were only provided  six colour A4 sheets and a cello-tape.
First we discussed about ,how to make our tower's base strongly.After the designing base ,we considered about structure of our tower.Finally we all compromised to make it like a "corn".

we had get 20 minutes to achieve this goal.We was the first team which finished the target first.After we finished making towers our madam ready to find the winner team of this task.First she considered about the height of towers and found the highest  tower among those three paper towers. After that she blew towards the towers, and checked the tower which wasn't fallen down from blowing.

But unfortunately our team lost the victory, because our tower's foundation didn't much stronger than other team's towers. we could 
have thought more about our tower's  foundation rather than making our tower more high. But this activity had a ability to improve our team spirit, harmony as well as our creativity.We all enjoyed this activity too.

Helium stick

The day when we did paper tower activity we  had finished our activities early. so we had 20 minutes  to finish our GNCT lecture.

Then our madam organized short activity to us. It called as 

"Helium stick"  . Because We used a helium stick to do this activity. 

our madam divided us into four groups again.Each group had 8 or 9 members. We were prepared into two lines .The helium stick  was between those two lines.

First Sarasi madam introduced rules for this funny game.

Lifting the Helium stick

• We Had to lift that stick by our index finger's point.
• We must balance the Helium stick until madam says "stop".

Unfortunately any group didn't do this activity in a correct way.

The reasons all groups fail in this activity.

1. Some members were so high,but some were too shorter than others.so they failed to keep the connection with the Helium stick when the stick was lifted.
2. There wasn't a team working sense. 
3. There wasn't a strategy for how to lift that stick ,before lifting the Helium stick.

Also this activity was a funny activity for us. We enjoyed this very much.
